Ylang Ylang is a deeply relaxing oil and is perfect for all stress and tension. It releases anxiety, anger and fear and it helps depression as it induces a sense of euphoria. Try 2 drops Ylang Ylang, 2 drops Bergamot and 2 drops Petitgrain in your bath.
If you really want to push the boat out try 2 drops Ylang Ylang, 2 drops Rose and 2 drops Neroli. I also quite like to use Ylang Ylang and Jasmine together in a blend.
Ylang Ylang can also help those who suffer with stress related palpitations or find that when they get stressed they become aware of their heart racing. Put a couple of drops on a tissue and inhale deeply. You can use Ylang Ylang on its own or in combination with Lavender. It also helps with high blood pressure
Ylang Ylang is also extensively used in skin care. It can be used for all types of skin. Try 1 drop Ylang Ylang, 1 drop Rose and 1 drop Neroli in 10gms cream to nourish and balance the skin.
Ylang Ylang is extremely sensuous and is a powerful aphrodisiac as well as helping with impotence and frigidity.
Light a couple of candles in your bedroom, wait until the wax has slightly melted and then put one or two drops into the melted wax, avoiding the wick.
You can also sprinkle a few drops onto your bedding to create a sensual atmosphere.
