Indian Head Massage

ITEC LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA in INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE

This is a postgraduate course available for students who already hold a recognised diploma in Holistic Massage

 Indian Head Massage has been adapted from Ayurvedic techniques to ease tension and strain in the shoulders, neck, scalp and face. It is a highly effective technique for the treatment of stress and stress related conditions. Since it can be carried out anywhere and is relatively quick to perform it is becoming a particularly popular therapy in the workplace.

Exam procedure

THEORY - the examination will consist of a multiple choice theory paper covering all aspects of the course.

PRACTICAL - Approx 30 minutes.
Students are expected to carry out a massage routine on a fully clothed client, (without a massage medium). Consultations can be pre-prepared. Oral questions will be asked at the discretion of the practical examiner. 
Home practice, usually on family or friends, is essential if students wish to take the examination.
Students will be required to present Case Studies - 3 clients 3 times with all results recorded.

Requirements: Eligible Students

All applicants must hold the ITEC Diploma in Holistic Massage (or equivalent) prior to entry on this course.
Students who have not trained at Beaumont College previously must send a copy of their diploma
